Paul Frederick Sharp was the chief administrative officer of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1 September 1964 until 15 February 1966. Records include correspondence and other files relating to the administration of and academic programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Of particular interest are records relating to North Carolina's speaker ban law, which prohibited communists from speaking at the university. Programs in medical education are especially well documented.
